Hi all Competitors, Spectators, Sponsor and Friends 

Please Note: The venue has been changed for round six on the 14th September.

What a remarkable year so far, the championship is now hotly contested.

The Wollongong sporting Car Club, despite their efforts and the hard work of CAMS are unable to run Huntley Hillclimb. This round has been picked up by Tamworth Sporting Car Club. Many thanks to TSCC.

Also thanks go to Kempsey and Buladelah as they also offered to run the round. Another big thank you goes to Eva Firminger for offering her services to Tamworth to be event Secretary.   

To our panel members, Barry, Ron, Alan, Dennis, Eva and Allan thank you for your continued support. Have you looked at the website lately, www.hillclimbnsw.com  Alan Barlow has been busy with his new toy, the video camera while his wife has been very busy taking stills and a great collection is on the website. Many thanks Alan and Eileen, and look forward to many more candid shots.(Sideways gear).

Buladelah hill is set for a revival with an event scheduled for the 21st September, a  multi club event, where the Town is getting involved with a show and shine and other community events. Watch for the supp regs and have a practice for next year as they have told me they will apply for a round in 2009. Please support this event to help the club secure another Hill into the future. 

I would like to encourage all members of the motorsport fraternity, drivers, spectators and officials to give me and the panel feedback on what direction you wish the future of hillclimbing to go. Please call me or email me with any suggestions etc. These can then be discussed at our monthly meetings.

May you all have a safe and enjoyable events in the second half of 2008.

SPONSORS: Are you or do you know of some potential sponsors for the championship? This will give our championship competitors a little more to aim for, so please encourage the businesses you deal with for sponsorship. We have a lot to offer them in return.

WARNING: Some competitors are trying to bend the rules lately, I have had a few complaints. Compliance checks will be done and with the Australian Championship not far away, other competitors will be looking hard at your car. We do not
want to keep the stewards busy with protests
